It’s official! 16-17th August 2019 at 7:30pm, One-Sided Love will be performed at the Hope Street Theatre. This is my second play that I’ve written for stage and It’s been a long time coming with taking a year out to concentrate on other projects such as our short films; Unspoken, Mindless and directing Ashley Ali’s debut play: Life after Life last October.
One-Sided Love was originally going to be a radio drama as most of you know, but with the amazing feedback we had from the free download of the script last June, we just couldn’t resist bringing it to stage where it belongs. I’m very excited about this piece firstly, because everyone can relate to it in some way. Secondly, this is my first time since 2016 that I’m taking a back seat from directing and concentrating more on managing the campaign.
I have full confidence in Caitlin Bradley and Zara brown’s team to bring this play to life. We’ve recently got our cast and I’ve heard only great things from Caitlin and Zara about every actor involved which is absolutely amazing. I can’t thank Caitlin, Zara and Andrew enough for their hard work behind the scenes, and not forgetting our designers Joe Harper and Rob Morris aswell.
So get these dates in your diaries, the tickets will be available very, very soon. Thanks again for the continued support and I’ll hopefully see you lovely people at the play.
