Play

Before they were known as ‘The Beatles’, they had to get their name out there! Lucy, Paul, George and Ringo explore their creativity as a band and work together to get themselves a record deal. They start at the bottom and intend to work their way, right up to the top. As a female lead, people do not think they will get anywhere. Until after one show night when events take a turn and a new member is introduced.

Short Stories

Bob Towers is a writer, poet, actor and artist from Liverpool, now living on the ‘dark side’ (Birkenhead). In this, his first published collection of short stories, he presents a world of laughter, sadness and serious issues curated during his time as an avid listener and storyteller. It captures life it its many forms.

Everybody wants to be loved, and we have all had an experience with love, whether its longing for somebody, being in a relationship, being in love or having your heart broken.

One Sided Love is a piece of writing that follows the lives of these characters, that in one way or another, are struggling with this issue, even if they don’t realise it. But this begs the question: What do we really want? Do we want to be loved or do we just want to feel wanted?

From March 2017 to March 2018, there were 40,147 recorded offences involving a knife in England and Wales. The highest number in 8 years.

5,053 were stabbings.
813 were victims under 18 years old.
35 lost their lives.

1.5 million young people have been bullied within the past year. 39% of those being bullied self-harm regularly. 51 10 to 19 year olds committed suicide in 2017.

The first play written by Christopher Woodward, it depicts one mans struggle for existence in the world we live in. Showcasing the emotions of one mans ambition, so out of control that he forgot who he truly was. With thirst for success and regrets taking a tole on him will Edgar exist or will he fall?
