Christopher Woodward steps down as Likeminded Company Director

5 years ago myself and Ashley created Likeminded with no experience other than pure passion as our motivation to create. It’s been a pleasure directing the company the past five years and i’m very proud of the foundations I’ve created with the team for the company to build on. I’ve had fun in bringing 3 plays, two short films, a bunch of self-published books and keeping Likeminded relevant through the pandemic with our amazing podcast. It’s been great branding and marketing Likeminded. It fills me with pride that our little company is now officially established within the theatre scene.

I feel now is the best time to step down as Company Director and head deep in the background and  give the batten to my good friend and business partner, Ashley Ali. I’m looking forward to you all to see his vision for Likeminded in the next 18 months. Believe me when I say, Likeminded is in good hands.

I will be now taking the role of Executive Director at Opening Nights.

I’m incredibly excited to be building this platform from the ground up with a brand new vision and an innovative way that will highlight the ever-growing theatre scene here in our beautiful city.

The Timeline & Kristallnacht will be the last project under my direction which I can’t wait for you all to finally see and hear. But before that, Ashley will be working straight away on a few projects that he has planned, some of which have already has released.

I want to take this time to thank all the Likeminded team for putting up with me over the years. Likeminded is nothing without you lovely lot. I believe Ashley will understand why I was a hot head at times! Thanks to everyone who supported my vision up to this point, it means the world.
The year ahead, Likeminded will have a new direction which I believe will take it to the next level.
Watch this space.
