What Happens Next?: Tickets Now On Sale!

Tickets now on sale for What Happens Next? Tip Tray Theatre, who is in partnership with The Hope Street Theatre, is excited to bring back this special three day event which Is set to excite audiences once again at The Hope Street Theatre on 18th, 19th and 20th January 2024. This competition aims to give local upcoming writers the opportunity to see their hard work come to life on stage. For many of us, this is the most exciting event of the year. It's not only exciting for producers and theatregoers but also for the entire creative scene in Liverpool.

The Hope Street Theatre is a venue for artists to help creatives improve on their craft in front of a 82 capacity seat Theatre. It has an exciting prize pool, with the overall winner getting a week-long run at the theatre the following year, all costs covered. They also have exclusive access to rehearsal space and receive support from Tip Tray Theatre, The Hope Street Theatre, and George Turvey. How amazing is that? Last year’s winner is set to excite audiences with a full length run of, I Am Steven Gerrard Written by Sean McLoughlin in the new year which has recently been awarded Arts Council Funding. That’s not all, already tickets are flying out with a night already sold out. Check out the promotion work on Tip Trays Socials, it’s very impressive for this project!

The winner Of this What Happens Next? has all this to come and more which is very exciting. This is the only event that offers so much support and I can speak for everyone at The Wire we can’t wait to cover this event from start to finish.

Last Years winner: I Am Steven Gerrard
