Stage and The City Conceived by Abbey Izabella Fitzhenry is a home for the local voice. DEUX festival gives a platform for writers to showcase their work - DEUX is a celebration for all involved to develop their craft and be guided with a professional adjudication. Going forward this is an excellent way to develop your work and gain audience insight.

A festival opens you up to an audience you may not have sold to and also gives you a chance to connect with fellow creatives.

I’m very excited to host this festival in my city as I have been involved in festivals all over the UK. We need to see more opportunities for the working class creatives and champion our local creative voices. -Abbey Izabella Fitzhenry

AWARDS: BEST ORIGINAL WRITING, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST ACTOR AND BEST ACTRESS

Stage And The City Award - SATC Will select one writers piece to develop and share for two nights in studio 3- as part of a double bill to help get new original work staged in the city. This can be the festival piece or a new two hander.
