TUCAN - The Jazz-Fusion collective are navigating through the journey which is the exponentially growing UK Jazz scene.
TUCAN's sound brings you a melting pot of contemporary sonics; fusing hard hitting grooves, experimental chords, and captivating melodies, with the band’s fresh take on ‘Jazz-Fusion’ also incorporating Soul, Funk and RnB, whilst drawing inspiration from the likes of Snarky Puppy, Robert Glasper and Cory Henry.

TUCAN are the musical representation of community and togetherness, with members of the band coming from all over the UK, and all over the world, in addition to their continuous collaboration with some of London’s, the UK’s, Europe’s, and the World’s finest artists, singers and musicians.
As TUCAN solidify their focus on bringing people together, their live shows have blossomed through their energetic and captivating performances, often leaving the audience moving and grooving.

Formed in 2017, the band met on the music programme at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Since, the band has had a short but exciting history, with a gig supporting Chicago Jazz Drummer, 'The Beat Scientist' Makaya McCraven, and the debut release of their single 'Flight', recorded and filmed at the famous Abbey Road Studios.

TUCAN now look to immerse themselves in the London and UK Jazz scenes with their monthly residency 'The Nest Sessions' at Brick Lane's 91 Living Room (where they've hosted featured artists such as Durand Bernarr, MiC Lowry, Vula Malinga, Ni Maxine and Amique), multiple Festival appearances (EFG LJF 2022 and 2023; LIMF 2022), and the release of their latest single 'Beck's Groove' and upcoming EP - ‘The Nest. Volume 1’.
